I Now Have in My Possession....

Home for the Holidays

Home for the Holidays, eep! :D I'm about halfway through it, page 161.  There's a lot of shocking stuff.  But last night, I re-read one of my favorite lines in Pies & Prejudice: "Sometimes maybe dreams really do come true."  It's at the end of Jess's summer chapter.  Last night through this morning have been a dream for me.  That includes H4H.  I'll re-read it a ton.  Probably two more times today.  I have too much free time on my hands, haha.  Well, not really.  I have science homework and schoolwork that I should work on, but I'll delay it for a book series that has influenced my writing.

I have an idea for Heather.  In book six (or book seven, if there's a book seven), in the summer chapters, the MDBC should rent two RVs and take a trip to the Midwest and visit all the high points!  Chicago and Navy Pier.  A Cubs game.  Mackinac Island in Michigan.  Door County, Wisconsin.  Duluth, Minnesota.  Mall of America.  Lake Okoboji, Iowa.  The Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.  Ooh, and where Maud Hart Lovelace is from! (She's the author of the Betsy-Tacy series that the girls are reading in H4H).  I can't remember the exact name. :P

  1. You are so lucky! My B&N didn't get them. :P I am re-reading Betsy-Tacy, though. It's the next best thing.

  2. Don't post any spoilers please! I can't wait to read it. My library doesn't have yet and it's too expensive for my right now.
