Top Ten Tuesday: Non-Contemporary Beach Reads

When people recommend books to read on the beach or poolside, they suggest primarily contemporary novels. (I'm guilty of this myself.) So this time around, I'm going to recommend YA books that are any genre but contemporary.

  2. A Thousand Pieces of You and The Wrath & The Dawn are PERFECT summer reads - I was trying to think of summer reads that aren't contemporaries and I can't believe I didn't think of those!

  5. I am guilty of the same thing too! I almost made a paranormal list and Cinder was gonna be there in it but for summer for me is full of contemporaries so went with that lol.

  6. The only two books I've actually read from your list are A Thousand Pieces of You - which wasn't really my favorite but I'm very curious to read the rest of the books in the trilogy and see what will happen next - and Cinder. I've also had Prisoner of Night and Fog on my TBR for a while so, I really need to pick it up soon. Hope you have a wonderful week!
