Writers: We're Often Inspired by...

Anything can inspire a writer.  But one place a writer can find a ton of inspiration from is his or her own life.

Hmm... ;)

  1. So true. Also, if you keep a diary, read some of the past entries and you'll be like, "OOoh...aahhh!" That happened to me weeks ago.

  2. Yes, yes, yes, yes. So true. My main character Galaxy is basically me except combined with a few new ideas because if I made her exactly me, she would be boring :)
But I totally know what you mean! Did you really used to go to a public/private school?

    1. I've actually gone to both. I went to public school for kindergarten and first grade, and I was REALLY not challenged there. Then I went to a private Christian school for second through fourth grade. I was more challenged there, but it wasn't perfect. Of course, homeschooling isn't perfect either, but it's working much better than the other two.

  3. I went to public school for preschool and kindergarten. Then we moved and I've been homeschooled ever since.

  4. I have a question. When you're homeschooled, where does your teacher get the books and workbooks you need? I'm curious about that and how the whole homeschool thing works. :)

    1. Well, when we've used textbooks, we can get them off of eBay or cbd.com or companies' sites. Sometimes we borrow them from other homeschoolers. I think most just buy from the publisher.
