I covered this topic a few weeks ago in a Random Friday post, but it's nice to do it again so I can list double the books.
1. Open Road Summer by Emery Lord (4/15)
2. Deception's Princess by Esther Friesner (4/22)
3. The Chapel Wars by Lindsey Leavitt
4. The Falconer by Elizabeth May
5. Royally Lost by Angie Stanton
6. Deep Blue by Jennifer Donnelly
7. Free to Fall by Lauren Miller
8. How to Meet Boys by Catherine Clark
9. The Art of Lainey by Paula Stokes
10. Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn
Deception's Princess looks cool, but also reminds me a bit of Brave, particularly considering the girl on the cover. Other than that, The Falconer, Deep Blue, and Free to Fall all look interesting. How many of these will you be able to do reviews for?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think several of us have acknowledged that, lol.
DeleteWell, I have plans to review Deep Blue and Broken Hearts because I have ARCs for them. The others, I'm unsure about.
You have great picks! All of them are ones I'm interested in, except I've already read The Art of Lainey and I'm at the end of Chapel Wars. Open Road Summer is definitely a popular one!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous that you were able to get Chapel Wars! And yes, I think a lot of us are excited for Open Road Summer; hopefully, it'll be great.
DeleteI haven't read ANY of these, but am looking forward to reading The Art of Lainey as well! Happy reading to you! :)

Thank you, and happy reading to you, as well!
DeleteOh, I LOVED Open Road Summer! It's such a cute contemporary :) Chapel Wars and Royally Lost look like fun reads too!
ReplyDeleteYay, glad to hear you loved it!
DeleteI just got The Chapel Wars on NetGalley, so I'm definitely excited to read it soon.
Free fall & Deep blue, can't wait! The falconer is on my birthday wish list *fingers crossed* and I really like the cover for Deception's princess.
ReplyDeleteI love the Belle widget by the way. My favorite Disney movie and fairy tale <3
Mel@thedailyprophecy
I'll cross my fingers for you, too!
DeleteThank you! It's one of my favorite Disney movies, as well.
Deception's Princess looks good! (And I want my hair to look like hers! Total Merida look! (: ) The chapel Wars (Like her other two YA books a lot!) and Royally Lost both made my TTT, they look good! Deep Blue!!!!!!!! That cover (Beautiful!) and summer both have me wanting it! :) How to Meet Boys and The Art of Lainey are two that look good, too! Hope you'll love all of these, Emma! :)
ReplyDeleteMe, too! Thanks for stopping by, Jessica.
DeleteI've seen The Falconer on several lists today, so I looked it up, and now it's on my TBR. As is The Art of Lainey. Love is war? Yes, please.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome that you found a new read.
DeleteAnd yes, The Art of Lainey definitely sounds like it'll be cool.
I want to read Deep Blue so bad!! I requested it on Netgalley, but got denied. Boo. :(
ReplyDeleteAw, that stinks. :( I got a physical ARC from my local bookseller. If you don't get an ARC, would you like to borrow my copy?
DeleteI've not read a single one of these! 'Deception's Princess', 'The Falconer' and 'Deep Blue' have really caught my eye though, definitely need to check those out!

Yay, glad to contribute books to your TBR list!
DeleteNew follower, hi! The girl on the cover of Deception's Princess really reminds me of Merida from Brave. It's the first time I've seen it but I'm guessing I'm not the only person to think that...

Yeah, I thought that when I first saw it, but I think it sounds good.
DeleteAre any of these authors good? I need a new book to read.
ReplyDeleteI've only read books by Lauren Miller (Parallel) and Lindsey Leavitt (Going Vintage) before, but I've heard praise for some of the books on this list. :)
DeleteThis is a great list - all of them are somewhere on my TBR list, but I probably won't get to them this spring. Can't wait to see what you think.
