Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Make Me Swoon

So I defined my choices for this by awesome love interests.  If he seems attractive, if he does nice things for the female lead, if he's sacrificial, etc.

1. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Wolf is definitely swoon-worthy.

Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)
2. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
St. Clair may have been crushing on Anna from the beginning, but how their friendship developed into love was my favorite part.  Plus he's French with a British accent.

3. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
Oh, good golly, Warner... I mean in general, he was a jerk, but what he said to Juliette in chapter 62 was beautiful.

4. Sixteenth Summer by Michelle Dalton
Will and Anna are one adorable couple.  I love how they met and fell for each other.

5. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Augustus is one of the best book boyfriends of all times.  His and Hazel's relationship was very intellectual and mature and yet teenager-y at the same time.

6. Fifteenth Summer by Michelle Dalton
Josh works in a bookstore, for goodness' sake! Yeah, he talks about how unglamorous it is, but it still makes him totally swoon-worthy.

7. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Levi is downright adorable, and not at all what I expected when I started the book.  He was one of the things I didn't like when I first read Fangirl, but when I reread it, he quickly became a favorite character.

Cross My Heart is when we first meet the amazing Zachary Goode, and boy, is his debut fabulous.  He's probably my favorite book boyfriend.

9. The Selection by Kiera Cass
I love, love, love Maxon.  I'm definitely Team Maxon, and it's great how he and America start out as friends.

10. Betsy and Joe by Maud Hart Lovelace
Joe has long been one of my favorite literary guys.  It's especially awesome how he and Betsy connected over books.

11. Princess of the Silver Woods by Jessica Day George
Although all three of the love interests in Jessica's series are fabulous, I'd have to say Oliver is the best.  But then, it's hard to shove Galen and Christian in a corner because they're awesome princes, too.

12. Cress by Marissa Meyer
Do I even have to explain this choice?

13. The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson
Hectooooooor.  All the feels in this book... I just can't.

14. Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
My shipper heart is all aflutter just thinking of Chaol and Celaena.

15. Splintered by A.G. Howard
Mainly for this quote: "Sit.  You've just been soundly kissed.  No doubt you're short of breath."  Not saying who said it, though.  You'll have to read the book! ;)

16. Pivot Point by Kasie West
As you'll find out from my upcoming review, I absolutely loved Addie and Trevor.  Trevor was extremely swoon-worthy.

17. Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
*fans self* Gavriel Duval is all I'll say.

  1. I am pretty sure that every guy in the Lunar chronicles is beyond swoon-worthy. I'm already in love with Kai, Wolf, and the Captain....I can only imagine what Winter will bring!

    1. They're all pretty awesome. :) I wonder if Jacin will be Winter's love interest?

  3. Wolf. And Thorne. Yeeees. Especially Thorne.
And Oliver is pretty awesome too. Though I think Galen's my favorite of the love interests.
And the rest I haven't met yet.
As a note, how exactly does it work to have a French guy with an English accent?

    1. He's French, but he lives in/was raised in London. (I think. I've read so many books since ANNA that it's sometimes a little hard to keep everything straight.)

  6. Fangirl made my list too! I'm thinking about trying some of the other books you have on the list, like Crown of Midnight and that series!

  7. No, there is no reason to explain your choosing Cress, because we all want to marry Captain Thorne.

Also, I'm so Team Morpheus in Splintered. I actually didn't like Jeb at all in Unhinged (which I finished last night).

  9. This is a great list~ I haven't read all of these books, but they're all on my TBR list! (I swear every single time I come onto your blog I get at least one more book for my list...maybe I should stop spending time on blogs and just read instead haha)

By the way, have you seen Taylor Swift's haircut? (http://instagram.com/p/kTFbxqjvEZ/ if you haven't) sigh she's so gorgeous I can't even.
