Book Spine Poetry

I'm no poet.  But I've seen others in the blogging and publishing community create poems from book titles, and I decided to try my hand at it.  So these poems will, by no means, be perfect, but I hope you like them.

[I'm a] princess of glass,
[On a] throne of glass,
Shatter me
[So I'm] free to fall.

Just one day
[Now I'm] out of sight, out of time
Torn away
Across a star-swept sea,
The chaos of stars,
Deep blue.
(If you couldn't tell, those last two lines describe the previous title.)

So hopefully you like my book spine poetry, and it wasn't too terrible!

  2. OH I really like these poems! I always try and make poems with my spines but they always end in a big epic fail! haha my favorite between the two is the first one :)

  3. I think they're great! I love the pics as well as the words of the poems themselves. Now I feel like trying to create a poem by using book spines, haha.
