Top Ten Tuesday: Longest Books I've Read

Long books are one of my favorite things. This was a little hard to figure out, but here are what I think are the longest books I've ever read! (Also, I didn't want to duplicate authors, so a couple of the Harry Potters didn't make the list.)

1. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (1,263 pages)

2. The Birth of the Modern: World Society 1815-1830 by Paul Johnson (1,115 pages)

3. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell (1,037 pages)

4. Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas (992 pages)

5. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (894 pages)

6. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling (870 pages)

7. Winter by Marissa Meyer (827 pages)

8. Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow (818 pages)

9. The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien (725 pages)

10. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss (722 pages)

Feel free to share the link to your TTT in the comments below! I'd love to see what have been the longest books you've read.

  1. We share Winter together! However, that's the longest book I've read. The books I like to read are just not that long. I'm not sure if it's laziness or intimidated. I think it's more because I like reading a book in a couple of days if possible. I don't really thinking I'd be stuck on the same book for a long time. I need to try to find a book over 1,000 pages to read.

  2. I'm still trying to get through The Name of the Wind! It's frustrating because I'm really enjoying it. ONE DAY! :)

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

  3. we have 2 in common! my post is here https://wordsandpeace.com/2018/10/09/top-ten-longest-books-ive-ever-read/

  4. Well done for getting through Les Mis! That's quite impressive. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. :-)

  5. Ohh I'm so in awe of everyone who's read Les Mis! I hope I can get to it sometime. :) Winter and Harry Potter are on my list as well!

  6. You have some really BIG books there! We share a couple!!

  7. Some classic books and some YA. An eclectic mix! :)

  8. I'm going to have to read The Name of the Wind and Alexander Hamilton. :)

  9. The Order of The Phoenix was on my list this week too. Kingdom of Ash will soon be the longest book I’ve ever read!
