A soundtrack can make or break a movie. And the really good ones can knock it out of the park. So here are some of my favorites. (For the record, I'm including scores in this too because I love to listen to film scores while writing.)
1.2005 Pride and Prejudice (obviously)
"Your Hands Are Cold" is probably my favorite, along with "The Secret Life of Daydreams." The latter is excellent for a rainy car ride.
2. You've Got Mail
Obviously "Dreams" by The Cranberries is iconic, but I'm also a sucker for "Remember" and "Dream."
3. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
4. Wonder Woman
Tell me the Wonder Woman theme doesn't make you want to get up and kick some butt.
5. To All the Boys I've Loved Before
Each song intertwines with the movie scenes perfectly.
6. Black Panther
A good soundtrack builds a movie's setting, and Black Panther really drives home the theme of Afro-futurism.
