Released Books I *Need* to Read

So often I feature books right around their publication date or long before. I have my Goodreads TBR list divided into released and unreleased. When I was recently looking at it and dreaming of the books I wish I had at my disposal to read, I realized that could be a blog post.

Return to Me by Justina Chen
A Blind Spot for Boys by Justina Chen
I absolutely loved North of Beautiful, so I definitely feel the need to read Justina's other books, particularly these two.

You Are Here by Jennifer E. Smith
The Secrets of Lily Graves by Sarah Strohmeyer
These are both authors whose previous books I enjoyed immensely. I've read all of Jennifer's other YA titles, and I've been waiting to read Lily Graves for months.

Legend by Marie Lu
Ah, two series I need to start. I promise I will soon!

17 First Kisses by Rachael Allen
Perfected by Kate Jarvik Birch
Forget Me by K.A. Harrington
Summer releases that my library didn't get before I left.

Tuesdays at the Castle by Jessica Day George
Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian
Two more series starters.

Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly
The Darlings are Forever by Melissa Kantor
I added both of these to my TBR list after seeing them in one of Jamie's blog posts.

Welcome, Caller, This Is Chloe by Shelley Coriell
Bright Before Sunrise by Tiffany Schmidt
Both books that looks pretty darn cute.

So...any input? Are there any I need to shove to the top of the list and make sure I get the next time I get over to the public library or perhaps buy the next time I'm at Joseph-Beth?

  1. I love Tuesdays at the Castle. :D I've never read any of the others, though, so I can't say much else.

  2. I loved North of Beautiful too so thank you for the heads up about her two new books. Don't wait too long before you read Daughter of Smoke and Bone, it is Stunning! Tied with Code Name Verity as the best book I've read so far this year :)

  3. You should definitely get Legend as soon as you can. I just finished Champion the other night and it was sooooo good.
Burn For Burn I read recently. Overall, I really liked the story. Unfortunately, the language got pretty bad, especially in the second book. There were also a couple of supernatural elements (again in the second book) that kind of freaked me out. I wouldn't yell at you to not read it though.

  4. I so approve of this list! I listened to Legend so that I could say that I had at least started the series, but I haven't had time to continue yet D: Also Tuesdays at the Castle is SO MUCH FUN! You'll love it :D
