As much as I'm all about established, auto-buy authors, I love to support debut authors. I love to watch their journey and hope that their books will be hits and they'll go on to write several more books and join the ranks of Emma's Auto-buy Authors. Here are 12 2017 young adult debuts I'm looking forward to.
1. Girl Out of Water by Laura Silverman
2. Dare Mighty Things by Heather Kaczynski
3. Speak Easy, Speak Love by McKelle George
4. The Heartbeats of Wing Jones by Katherine Webber
5. Song of the Current by Sarah Tolcser
6. Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller
7. And We're Off by Dana Schwartz
8. That Thing We Call a Heart by Sheba Karim
9. The Traitor's Kiss by Erin Beaty
10. When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
11. Dear Martin by Nic Stone
12. The Hidden Memory of Objects by Danielle Mages Amato
What 2017 debuts are you looking forward to?
I'm also excited for Song of the Current, And we're off, and Speak Easy Speak Love!!
ReplyDeleteMost of these are on my radar (even if only When Dimple Met Rishi was the only on my actual list), I just really need 2017 to have a lot more hours in it!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Kate on needing more hours in 2017. This is a great list and you added more to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Daughter of a Pirate King.
ReplyDeleteOooo! I hadn't heard of Song of the Current but it sounds wonderful. Definitely adding it to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteSong of the Current is new to me and I just discovered it today thanks to this meme! The Hidden Memory sounds like it might be good too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are also excited for Girl Out of Water. Laura Silverman was the year ahead of me in grad school and an amazing writer. I'm also super pumped for When Dimple Met Rishi - I can't believe I forgot to put that one on my list.
ReplyDeleteHi! Ohhhh, those last four look like they're for me! Must add to my list :)
