Rewind & Review #26

Rewind & Review

Three big things happened over the past three weeks.
1) I finally got to go home! I've been at college since August 12, and it was good to get a full week in my own home and bed. I got to see family and friends, stop in at my favorite bookstore, bake, and go see Mockingjay: Part 1 with Kate.
2) I got a job! Next semester, I'll be working the control desk at the athletic center on campus.
3) I got a new phone. It's beautiful and glorious and I'm so happy to have something better than a Tracfone.
Also, check out this important tweet.
No book haul vid this time! I was too busy yesterday to film one.

  1. Huzzah, huzzah, huzzah! I'm glad you had a good break! What did you think of Mockingjay?
Also, what kind of phone did you get? I have a Tracfone like you did . . . kinda. It's a smartTracfone, which I got because it was on sale and my parents are awesome.
I hope your new job goes well!

    1. Mockingjay was good! I was surprised by a couple omissions (the main one being the lack of Katniss demanding to be the one to kill Snow, especially because that created a humorous line for Coin), but it worked overall. The Hanging Tree was a beautiful scene.
I got an iPhone 5c. I got it in blue, and I got a black, lacy-looking case for it.
      Thank you!

  3. Yay for going home! One of the reasons I'm glad I chose a college 2 hours away instead of my other pick of 4 hours. It's been great having a free ride home here and there. Also, congrats on the job!
